Yizhe Yang (杨毅哲) is a third-year Ph.D. student at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Beijing Institute of Technology (2021-present), where he is under the guidance of Prof. Heyan Huang and Prof. Yang Gao. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Beijing Institute of Technology (2016-2020). Following his bachelor’s, he pursued a master’s degree (2020-2021) before transitioning into a combined master-doctoral program. During his studies, he fortunately had the opportunity to work under the supervision of Prof. Ee-Peng Lim and Prof. Jing Jiang during his visit to Singapore Management University, funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC). Yizhe’s research interests encompass Large Language Models (LLMs), LLM-based agents, role-playing, and the application of AI in social sciences. His current focus is on developing LLM-based models tailored for Motivational Interviewing Counseling.
